چکیده

High amounts of toxic textile dyes are released into the environment due to coloring and wastewaters treatment processes' inefficiency. To remove from wastewaters, researchers focused on applying immobilized enzymes mild reaction conditions enzyme nontoxicity. Laccases oxidases with wide substrate specificity, capable degradation many different dye types. Laccase Streptomyces cyaneus was expressed surface Saccharomyces cerevisiae EBY100 cells. The specific activity surface-displayed laccase increased by toluene-induced lysis 3.1 U/g cell walls. For wall immobilization within hydrogel beads, alginate modified dopamine using periodate oxidation reductive amination characterized UV–Vis, FTIR, NMR spectroscopy. Cell dopamine-alginate beads additionally cross-linked oxygen laccase. enzyme's two times higher compared native yield 16 times. decolorized Amido Black 10B, Reactive 5, Evans Blue, Remazol Brilliant Blue 100% efficiency after ten rounds multiple-use retained decolorization 90% 61% Black.

Immobilization of Laccase in Alginate-Gelatin Mixed Gel and Decolorization of Synthetic Dyes

Alginate-gelatin mixed gel was applied to immobilized laccase for decolorization of some synthetic dyes including crystal violet. The immobilization procedure was accomplished by adding alginate to a gelatin solution containing the enzyme and the subsequent dropwise addition of the mixture into a stirred CaCl(2) solution. The obtained data showed that both immobilized and free enzymes acted opt...

Immobilization of antibodies on alginate-chitosan beads.

An anti-hapten IgG was covalently immobilized on glutaraldehyde-activated alginate-chitosan gel beads. The antibody immobilization efficiency was influenced by glutaraldehyde-bead reaction time, IgG concentration and pH. In addition, immobilization conditions such as glutaraldehyde and antibody concentrations influenced antibody hapten binding affinity. The immobilized IgG on the beads was stab...

Decolorization of reactive dyes by laccase immobilized in alginate/gelatin blent with PEG.

To achieve effective decolorization of reactive dyes, laccase immobilization was investigated. Laccase 0.2% (m/V) (Denilite IIS) was trapped in beads of alginate/gelatin blent with polyethylene glycol (PEG), and then the supporters were activated by cross-linking with glutaraldehyde. The results of repeated batch decolorization showed that gelatin and appropriate concentration of glutaraldehyde...
